Subject: Fire Evacuation
Hello everyone,
After the recent fire evacuation drill, I noticed that many people don’t know what to do during the drill. Although the fire alarm keeps on buzzing some staffs are still in the building. Some people that are in the building that time was not aware of what they are going to do during the drill and some of them even wandered to get a coffee! I will be listing some instructions on what to do during the fire evacuation drill.
1. When the fire alarm starts, staff are supposed to leave the building immediately and assemble to the main car park.
2. Keep the emergency exits clear at all times.
3. And lastly, you must leave the car park or return to the building until the Fire Safety Officer gives them all clear.
These instructions are not applicable only for our fire evacuation drills but also in-home or in different places. I hope this sort things out. I will appreciate if you do follow the rules and apply those rules on our next fire evacuation drill. If there are things that still confuses you, don’t hesitate to email me so I will sort things out for you.
Cheers,
Meg Williams
